Crafters are true makers and can turn their hands to just about anything. Our workshop will show you how to make your own custom stamps and seals using Sugru and a range of common household objects!

An informal and fun way for designers and makers to meet with micro-manufacturers, workshops and other makers from London, and get their making questions answered. We will start with a light buffet breakfast and plenty of coffee, followed by an hour of light-hearted ‘speed dating’ , guaranteed to get you skill swopping in no time. Come and join us for chat, collaboration and bagels!

About: Hannah Miles is a Paper Illustrator and member of the Paper Artist Collective, who works by hand to create layered works as well as 3D paper crafted scenes which are available online, under the name utensils0. She takes personal and business commissions for hand crafted gifts and promotional images, teaches workshops as well as creating online tutorials to show people how to use paper to craft items themselves.

Laser cutting whizzes Good Empire will be on hand you to help you make your very own acrylic statement necklace or brooch. Armed with a range of laser cut shapes and multitude of colours pieces to work with they will show you how to create a unqiue piece of jewellery. Let your creativity run wild and make a completely one off design to adorn yourself with!

15.00-16.30 Sculpting the Line Workshop with London Sculpture Workshop
In this hands-on workshop, participants will use modelling wax to explore the sculptural properties of working with wax. There will be a number of practical demonstrations to introduce the fascinating variety of ways in which wax can be constructed and modelled. Wax is an extremely versatile & traditional sculptural material often used for direct modelling, or preparation for casting.
About: London Sculpture Workshop offers exceptional facilities for artists and those interested in making work in 3D, offering a superbly equipped metal and wood workshop with additional mould making and hot-metal areas. LSW offers an exciting variety of educational short courses, from a 3-hour ‘Introductory Welding for Artists Course’ to a ‘4-day Advanced Mould-Making and Casting Course’. It was established by two artists who trained at the RCA and the Slade, in 2014 & 2015 it was awarded a Chelsea Arts Club Trust ‘Artist run Space Award’.
