Mixtape : Organic Sheepskins, FabricWorks LDN

Just Got Made • 26 Jan 2015

Welcome! Here’s an edit of five things we enjoyed this week from our network & beyond.

Organic Sheepskins

the baaaa essentials

Organic Sheepskins are new to our network and have given us a sudden longing to work with fleeces. What on earth would you do with a sheepskin you ask? A January pair of slippers sounds about right, check out Saturday Market Project’s excellent tutorial

It was -3 degrees last week in London. Baltic. Origin68’s Wonky hat, £40 is hand-knitted in Glasgow, with organic merino wool sourced in the UK.

FabricWorks London

doing the right thing

Another new member! FabricWorks London are a social enterprise, teaching textiles and fashion skills to their local community. Good work and good people, worth knowing about.

isabella bunnell

count on it

Isabella Bunnell’s work was showcased this week on Grafik, delicate and nostalgic drawings using repetitive patterns.

The brilliant Makerversity joined us this week, a London makerspace providing access to a range of studios, fabrication spaces and prototyping tools. Do you want to see more ‘places’ to make in our network – tweet @Just_Got_Made to vote yes or no.

Thanks! JGMx
