Just Got Made is co-hosting Thursday Late at emerging design talent showcase New Designers 2016! We’re taking the stage along with design portfolio Design-Nation to hear eight manufacturers and designers tell the story behind how they made their most progressive products and ambitious projects happen. Afterwards we get interactive, and invite everyone to join us in a rapid fire speed-networking session packed full of unique one-to- one encounters both with the presenting designers, audience members and special guests of the hosts!

What’s Happening?

6pm-6.35pm 8 Collaborative Thinkers

Start thinking laterally with the help of short, lively presentations from 8 of the talented people that Design-Nation and Just Got Made work with. Hear from designers, makers and micro-manufacturers, all working with their eyes, hands and minds, as well as technology old and new, to create progressive products.

6.45pm-7.15pm Speed- Networking

Stay on for a fun, fast, speed-date style session packed full of unique one-to- one encounters both with the presenting designers and with other special guests in the audience. Ask the questions about processes and partnerships in craft and design that have significance for you, gain unique insight into the practices of others. Meet your creative match!

‘Partnerships in the Making’ takes place during Thursday Late on 30 June at New Designers 2016.

New Designers take place at: Business Design Centre 52 Upper Street, London N1 0QH

Tickets : A special New Designers Thursday Late Ticket can be purchased for £7.50 in advance or £11.50 on the door. This ticket gives you access to the show from 5pm-8pm and access to all special events including ‘Partnerships in the Making’.
