Handmade Alliance is a social enterprise working with ex-prisoners, prisoners and with other social enterprises. The alliance is founded on a desire to help prisoners learn through making, and to give practical and emotional support to help them reintegrate into society on release.

We produce high quality hand-finished and machine-made products for British designers and retailers. All our clients have a close relationship with the team and we consider them to be members of the alliance – see our website for a list of partners and allies. We hope that over time our brand comes a hallmark for ethical production.
